Introduction

I've wanted to start a blog for a long time now. I have so many ideas swimming around in my head. I realize that my blog will best be described as eclectic. I love DIY projects, up-cycling, outfit posts, crafts, books, music, fashion, knitting, beading, general re-purposing, thrifting, and saving money to name a few... I tried to keep this in mind while selecting my blog title. The idea for "Don't Miss It" came from a song by Francesca Battistelli (titled the same). The main point of the song is to not rush through life so quickly that when you go to look back, it's all a blur. Slow down and enjoy the little things. That is something I strive for daily. Since my inspiration and interests fluctuate, I didn't want a blog title based on a single idea, only to be irrelevant a week from now. I don't want to feel forced to stay within the confines of just a sewing blog or a fashion blog. I want my blog to reflect that I appreciate an ever-changing variety of things.
